"Energy efficient windows and doors"
The PVC thermal break connects the aluminium and the timber sections of WINDOR® profiles. Energy efficiency of the profile is primarily affected by its function as it blocks heat transfer between aluminium and wood.
Finish carpentry is the most dynamic part of structures, allowing ingress of solar energy, while simultaneously exhibiting excellent insulation properties. Contemporary architecture and living and working space design require increased glazed area letting in an increased quantity of sunlight. That is especially pronounced in low-energy and passive structures where solar energy efficiency is to be used most effectively for passive heating.
WINDOR® folding and sliding doors
- TIMBER natural ambience
- ALUMINIUM long service life and adaptability
- PVC thermal brake
- XPS additional thermal insulation (compakt termo)
- Insulating glazing filled with argon
- Low-E glazing coating
- 5 seals points waterproof
WINDOR® folding and sliding doors are furnished with Sigenia security fittings.
Folding and sliding doors are made out of profiles:

- compakt termo
- Uw ≈ 1,28 W/(m²K)
- Ug ≈ 0,7 W/(m²K)
- Uf ≈ 1,9 W/(m²K)
- compakt
- Uw ≈ 1,54 W/(m²K)
- Ug ≈ 1,1 W/(m²K)
- Uf ≈ 2,16 W/(m²K)
Ug, Uf and Uw denote thermal conductivity. Lower value indicates lower conductivity, i.e. better insulation. Ug indicates thermal conductivity of glazing, Uf indicates thermal conductivity of profile, while Uw indicates overall thermal conductivity of a door.
Security
Our products entail Sigenia security fittings with multiple locking points. Nursery windows are provided with key lockable handles.
Free measurement
We shall measure window and door openings free of charge so that your new WINDOR® finish carpentry fits seamlessly.
